The Professional Development Program can generate income in a variety of ways:

 

• Continuing Education Fees

          Local market rates will dictate the competitive fee that can be charged for continuing           education and continuing legal ecudation credits. In the Nashville, TN market the                 credit hour fee is set at $25.

• Training Vendor Contracts

           Contracts with the Department of Children's Service, Administrative Office of                the   Court are being negotiated. Other training contract opportunities have                  been identified with the Police Academy and the Department of Education.

• Conference Workshop Fees 

         The workshops are in demand for various discipline-specific conferences and              the going rate for facilitator fees can generate income.

• Negotiated Single Workshops

         Nonprofit organizations and service providers who work with abused and                    neglected children are prospects for staff professional development workshops.
